Women’s Leadership Programme

Advancing women into leadership roles


Tailor-made for women in public service, this programme allows senior and emerging leaders to navigate the unique leadership challenges that deter female professionals in the workplace from occupying senior leadership positions. The programme aims to enhance women leaders’ ability to make strategic choices, lead people and other resources, and excel in personal leadership qualities.

Programme Fee: This is a fully-funded programme


Selection criteria

  • Must be in public service (government ministries, agencies, and departments) either in mainland Tanzania or Zanzibar
  • At least five years of supervisory, managerial or leadership experience, with roles such as Director, Head of Department, Assistant Director, Senior Manager, Manager, and Unit/ SectionSupervisor
  • At least seven years of work experience In roles such as Principal Officers or Senior Officers
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • The age limit is 50 years and below.
