The Regional Commissioners (RCs) and Regional Administrative Secretaries (RASs) from 26 regions in mainland Tanzania will participate in a six-day leadership programme from 22 August 2023, in Pwani.

The workshop, organised in collaboration with President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government, will be officiated by the Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Philip Isdor Mpango.

It will cover essential leadership topics to help them develop a deeper understanding of their functions as public leaders; become more self-aware and emotionally intelligent; as well as improve their decision-making and interpersonal skills. The topics include Effective Political-Administrative Interface; Personal Leadership and Emotional Intelligence; The Art and Practice of Leadership; Fundamentals of Government: Structure and Communication; An Ethical and Accountable Leader; and Leadership of Public Resources.

This activity will be delivered as part of our Senior Public Leaders Onboarding programme.
